To mark World Book Day this year, each student in the Primary school was asked to learn and recite a poem in front of his or her peers. The results were nothing short of spectacular!
The teachers are so proud of each student for showing dedication, courage and inventiveness in their performances. In fact, teachers have noticed that through the performances of these poems, the confidence of so many students has been improved.
If reciting poetry is good enough for the children, why not for the adults? Each class in the Primary School was also treated to a poetry recital by a visiting teacher from another year group. Some even came in disguise: yes, that is Kate in the picture below!
