Viking Longhouses by Yr4

6th February 2015

Each child in Year 4 is going to make their own Viking longhouse.

The project started this week and in the photographs below you can see the children using clamps, wood blocks, saws and glue.  They are making a rectangular frame.  It may look simple but the wood has to be cut at an angle of 45 degrees to form the corners.

Not as easy as it looks!

Each week we will add more photographs so that you can watch the project develop.
