28th May 2016
Students in Years 3 and 4 stepped back in time on Tuesday 17th May to visit Ancient Rome. Firstly, they visited the Colosseum before
having a picnic lunch over looking Foro Augusto.
Then they sampled the wonderful Time Elevator for not one but two time travels. The first was a roller-coaster of a ride in 3D which took the students back to the Big Bang, through the dinosaur age and right up to the present. The second journey took them back to 753BC where they witnessed the founding of Rome and watched the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. The journey continued on to the Renaissance where they saw Michael Angelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
