17th November 2015
Year 2 and 3 had a fantastic morning at the Tissot exhibition at the Chiostro del Bramante in the heart of Rome on November 2nd. Each class had a guided tour in which they learnt more about the life and work of this artist. The children found out about Tissot's style of painting and his almost photographic portrayal of life in London at the end of the 19th Century. Following the guided tour, each class took part in a workshop where they used magnifying glasses to study some of Tissot's paintings in more detail and completed a fun quiz about their contents!
