Public Examination Results 2017

Congratulations to students in Years 11, 12 and 13 for another set of excellent results. 
 
GCSEs
 
The GCSE A*-C rate increased from last year going from 93% to 96% of all grades. 48% of all grades were an A or A*. The UK saw a drop in grades A*-C(or Level 4) of 0.6% to 66.3% so the New School Rome continues to outperform the UK average. 
 
At GCSE 100% of candidates gained 5 A*-C grades which is also an improvement on last year. 
 
A-Level
 
35% of grades at A-Level were an A*/A. This compares with the UK rate of 26.6%. The school's A*-C rate is at 88% compared to 77.4% in the UK.
