Students from Years 10 and 11 recently returned from a challenging and successful week's trip to the Outward Bound Centre at Loch Eil in the North West Highlands of Scotland.
Over the course of the trip they participated in a number of activities to develop their confidence, ambition, resilience and sense of equality (teamwork). This included raft building, gorge walking, zip lining, and most challenging of all a hiking and overnight camping expedition in some treacherous Scottish weather.
As you can see from the video, the pupils had a great time, have many stories to tell, and returned to Italy with a renewed sense of adventure and fortitude. The pupils also achieved Duke of Edinburgh Awards for their successful completion of these activities. Special mention must go to Chris for his excellent organisation and inspiring leadership, and Fiona for her boundless enthusiasm.
