The New School Rome's brand new Library and Resource Centre has now been officially opened during a series of special events on Monday November 28th. Celebrated food writer and educator Rachel Roddy joined the school for the day to stage readings to students in Early Years and Years 1 & 2.
Rachel, who writes for The Guardian, also staged creative writing workshops for students in Years 8 and 10 and helped judged an art competition launched to mark the Library's opening.
The new space gives the school its first ever senior and primary Library. Students can read books the old fashioned way or online using the brand new set of tablets.
