The New School Rome annual play takes place this Friday March 20th at 6.30.

Teatro Cassia via Santa Giovanna Elisabetta 69 00189 Roma

A Liverpudlian West Side Story: twin brothers are separated at birth because their mother cannot afford to keep them both. She gives one of them away to the wealthy Mrs Lyons. They meet as boys and grow up as friends in ignorance of their fraternity. Eventually, due to their circumstances, they take different paths…………. until the inevitable quarrel unleashes a blood-bath.

“Above all this is a very human story about love, friendship and the things that can go wrong when the truth isn’t told – and one of those shows that should be seen by everyone with a beating heart.”

The story is at once emotionally gripping, funny and heart-rending. A potent combination that serves to captivate its audience and leave them wanting more.
