5th June 2014
Students in Years 3 and 4 continued a unit studying Roman history with a trip to Ostia Antica on June 4th.
Armed with clipboards and clues, students had to use maps to find the correct ruin, and then match a picture of what it looks like now with what it would have looked like in Ancient Roman times.
After lunch and an ice-cream, the students took a boat back to school along the Tevere. The journey lasted two hours and featured a fascinating guide to the flora and fauna along the way.
