Students in Years 3 and 4 have just returned from their annual residential trip which took place in the beautiful Apennine Mountains of Abruzzo. They were lucky enough to see four wolves, a bear, rare orchids and much more.
Local guides taught them how bees build their hives and make honey. The students also explored the stunning town of Civitella Alfedena.
What was particularly special was this: at 1100 metres above sea level and against the backdrop of the spectacular natural amphitheater called the Camosciara, the students built a human pyramid to show the layers of the local eco system.
