Congratulations to all of our Year 13 students for their excellent presentations to mark the end of the Extended Project Qualification. This qualification is brand new at the school and aims to equip our students with independent study skills ahead of their departure for university. Students presented their projects on a range of topics including the effects of Globalisation, laughter on the mind, a dissertation on the HPV vaccine and two fascinating artefacts. One was an art exhibit and the other was a robot, designed and built by one of the students. What is most impressive is that the students have had a year to work on these projects almost entirely unaided by educators. The qualification is worth half an A-Level and complements the students' existing studies.
